So much going on!

I was thinking today at how much I have to blog about in the last week. The thing is, I feel behind on blogging. How is that even possible with 6 posts in July already? We've had so much going on. It's been great, of course, but it gets overwhelming to blog about. I hope you don't suffer for my quick, but up-to-date blog posts.

Let's see, I'm going to have to back up a little. I know I posted about Mason's 1st birthday, but that was only the celebration that Josh and I did together. We celebrated lots of July birthdays as a family later on. We have quite a few birthdays (on my side of the family) in July, so we decided to go to Layton Park to celebrate all of them at once. Here's the list of bdays: Burke, 10 (nephew), Stacy, 44 (sister), Mandi, 22 (niece), Dad, 66 (Dad, uh duh), Mason, 1 (my sweet baby), Dorothy, 61 (aunt). My goodness that's a lot of birthdays. I'll have to do a slide show of the park, since there are lots of cute pictures. Somehow my mom, Greg and Wade avoided my camera, so there aren't shots of them. We were also giving a farewell to Alexa's boyfriend, Chad. He'll be leaving for Snow College this week. We'll all miss him lots, but are excited for his awesome opportunity to play college football. Stacy and Greg put together a great feast for all of us to enjoy. They made 7-Up turkey, pasta salad, crab salad, and home-made strawberry ice cream. Mom made a roast too! Talk about yummy!! We all pigged out and still made room for cake and ice cream!
