Thrity-One Flavors of Old

We celebrated my 31st birthday this last weekend with my family. I really thought of doing something fabulous for my bday this year and yet, I just couldn't muster up the expense that goes along with 'fabulous'. I thought of flying to New York to see RENT on Broadway. It was just too much $$ to justify. Instead, I spent my bday the best way I know how, with family. Year after year, no matter how boring getting old gets I love celebrating at home. We always order the cake from Dick's Market, which I wish I had gone with banana-nut this year. I get to spell out 'W-E-E-D' to the poor decorators each time too. It would just seem weird to put 'Happy Birthday Brandy'. My nieces and nephews always sing Happy Birthday to me (Nicole always gets to start the song to get them in tune). It's great! This year was no exception on fun, but I missed Stacy's family at the get together. The lucky dogs are on a cruise!

Happy birthday woman! I am so happy that you were able to spend the day with family. That is truly the best. Thank goodness they live nearby and can celebrate with you. Anyways, I also wanted to tell you how awesome your new blog look is. My cousin said that she was working on something for you and that it was going to turn out really cute because of the style you picked and she was right! Heather is very talented and your new look is awesome!
