On the move

It's official, my baby finally crawled! Last weekend, we were at a family get together (to celebrate my nephew, Chance's, bday) at North Davis Gymnastics. We were all hanging out on the big mats and Trace got Mason to crawl to him. Maybe the mats are slicker than carpet and it's easier for him to crawl on. I don't know, but he crawled a few times. I was able to catch some of it on video, which is weird that I even had it with me. Josh wasn't at the party, so I was grateful to record it. I think it's interesting that it takes babies so long to learn new things and then they retain it like they've been doing it forever. Mason is a crawling fool now! Luna is in trouble and she knows it. I am so very proud of my little guy. He has since started pulling himself to his knees and balancing against the couch, the wall, the hearth, the cat...etc. I love watching him explore, even though I have to hold back from grabbing him every time I think there's a chance he could slip. The first major bruise is gonna break my heart!
