Have ya met...Josh?

It occurs to me that there are about 4 of my blog readers that actually know Josh. I thought I'd do a little post about him and what he likes. I'll follow it up with a cute little quiz I stole from my friend's blog. Josh is an avid outdoors man. He is a mountain biker, climber, snow boarder, road biker, skiier (at least before he realized he likes boarding better), etc. He isn't much of a hiker (by choice), but will definitely take Mason on some near by hikes. Here are what pictures look like from his vacations.

how long have we been married? 2 1/2 years

how long did we date? This is a tricky question, because the answer varies depending on who you ask. I suppose we probably dated about 2 1/2 years. I was fresh out of a divorce and he helped me move into my very own apartment. I repaid him by taking him to Lagoon (which is funny cuz we both hate it). He is one of my brother-in-law, Wade's, best friends. We met through him. I wasn't sure I wanted to 'date' anyone at the time, but he was patient with me and it paid off.

how old is he? 32, but has the fear factor of a teenager!

who eats more? Josh, Josh, Josh. The guy can eat like a madman. He doesn't EVER gain an ounce either.

who said i love you first? Definitely Josh. It took me months to say it back.

who sings better? I'd have to say me. I'm not stellar either, though.

who is smarter? Josh is more street smart (and anything gadget oriented), but I think I'm more book smart and money smart. I've got him beat on spelling for sure!

whose temper is worse? My temper is for sure worse, in our relationship. However, I think Josh's is worse in the 'real' world. He doesn't have patience for stupid people.

who pays the bills? me, technically, but he makes the money!

who does the laundry? I do me and Mason's laundry and Josh does his own. He has a system with his work clothes, so he likes to do it. He dries everything, so I beg him not to touch my stuff. Josh is great at putting his laundry away though. I put Mason's away fast, but I struggle to hang mine up!

who cooks dinner? Neither of us. We starve! Josh is a way better cook, but he rarely cooks (maybe as seldom as I do!). He'd love, love, love it if I'd cook, but I can't seem to make myself. I eat a lot of cereal!

who drives when together? If we're in my car, I drive. His car, he drives. We both get car sick, so we kinda take turns. If it's a long trip, he drives. Now that both of our cars are basically his, I'm not sure how that will play out. We haven't driven together since buying the Subaru. Technically, it's mine though.

who is more stubborn? He has definitely met his match on this one. We are both terribly stubborn, which doesn't bode well in 'disagreements'. ;)

who is the first to admit when wrong? I don't think Josh has ever admitted to being wrong. I will admit to it, but it seldom happens (just teasing!).

who wears the pants in the family? I used to think that I did...a long, long time ago. Now, to be honest, I don't have a clue.

who kissed who first? Josh kissed me and I still don't consider it our first 'real' kiss. I was totally taken by surprise, so I don't think I kissed him back even. It was only a week later that we kissed again, but that's the one I count.

who is more of a morning person? Some of you will find this really hard to believe, but it's actually ME! Josh is hands down the worst morning person I've ever met.

who proposed? Josh, but I was getting pretty irritating about it. I knew he had the ring and it seemed like he was taking FOREVER!

who will live longer? If it has to do with health, Josh will outlive me. If we're talking insane adventures that will take a life, Josh will croak LONG before me!

what is my favorite thing about him? The way he is with Mason. Oh, how he loves his kid. It's so sweet to watch them together, even if I do get tired of hearing Mason say 'da da' all day long. Josh is such a hard worker and is amazing at anything he puts his mind to. Josh is also a very loyal friend. He takes great pride in those relationships.
