I find it odd how children develop. It's largely by choice, I think. For example, Mason is 15 1/2 months old and is not walking. He can clearly stand, cruise, and even walk with numerous items to assist him. Yet, if you try to 'make' him walk on his own, he'll immediately sit down. Can he really be so determined for independence and not see that walking would only increase this for him? And then, there's issues that I feel he clearly isn't old enough to know how to do yet. If he was just a wee bit taller, he'd open every door he could. I swear kids don't usually do this until they are older, right? Anyway, I know that my world is about to get a lot more hectic the moment he can actually reach the door knobs!

And then there's the issue with his fascination with BBQ grills. He OBVIOUSLY gets this from my Dad. However, I think my Dad's is probably a little large for Mason...for now! (P.S. Dad, you may want to check all the knobs before you fire this up again! Hee hee)

Ours is a little more manageable for the time being.
