Today I went with my mom to visit my 96 yr. old grandma. She was asleep for most of the visit, until I layed Mason on her. She smiled and said 'oh, he's a cutie'. My grandma doesn't know who people are most of the time and often times, doesn't speak when we're there. Today she held Mason's hand legs for at least 10 minutes. He kept bringing his forhead by her face and she'd lean over and kiss him each time. She told us all that she loved us and even called my mom by name. "I love you, Brenda" she told her. We know that our time is short with Grandma and we cherish every chance we get to be with her. Four generations of love is a great way to spend Mother's Day!
I don't usually do cheesy, but I am definitely feeling grateful of my role as a mother today. I have to stop and think how miraculous babies/children are on days like today. How lucky we are to be blessed with such an amazing gift. Mason touches my heart and lifts my spirits every time I see him. Anyone who spends any time with him comments on what a 'good baby' he is. It's so true and I am crazy mad about him. I love you, Fishy-Fish!
Happy Mother's Day!

How sweet! My favorite thing is to watch my boys with my grandpa.
Grandparents and grandchildren bring out such a sweet side in each other.
Thanks for sharing--sounds like you had a wonderful mother's day.
