Yes, I'm aware that I suck at blogging, lately!

I just haven't had it in me. Nothing seems remarkable enough to blog about. I know, Mason is ALWAYS remarkable, but I've been a slacker. I have cute pics of cute outings, but alas, nada on here. I'll do it. Soon.

I'm currently 7 1/2 months pregnant and am so grateful for Fall. I love Fall. It is my most favorite time of year. The idea of having a child born in this time frame is crazy for my immediate family. From my parents, all the way down to their great-grandchild, there is not ONE kid born between the end of July and mid-December. Not even if you count spouses. It will be weird to have a birthday in there, but how wonderful! My baby will get to think Halloween is revolving around her. ;) I have costumes in the works for both of them and am excited to take their pics together.

I'm not nearly ready for this baby. I have done the basics, which is laundry and picked out bedding. That's it. Of course, I've been blessed with a gazillion hand-me-downs, so I've been sorting and washing them. I've been storing girl clothes for a couple of years now and seems surreal to actually be having a girl. PINK, PINK, PINK is all I see. Ugh. I'm sure I'll get more used to the idea once she arrives. She still doesn't have a room yet. The computer room/office will be shifted somewhere (downstairs) to make room for this little creature. No way is she sharing a room with us or with Mason. I care WAY TOO MUCH about sleep.

Josh has basically told me that we aren't naming her until we see her. For real! I hate 'those' people. He wouldn't commit to a name with Mason, so I don't know why I thought it would be different with baby #2. High hopes, I suppose. We review lists of names that I present to him and he marks 'maybe' or 'no' next to them. He's never given me a 'yes' yet. Then again, I don't love the names he has suggested either. We've just got different styles of what we like.

Mason is as darling and naughty as ever. I'm thinking more seriously about potty training, but only because it's so hard to get down and change a diaper right now! He really has zero interest in potty training, so we'll see how energetic I am about it.

He says all sorts of darling things. Sweet, lovable, Mason-things:

He says 'evermind' instead of 'nevermind'.
He says 'I can't wait', when he's excited.
He points out every single 'blue dude' on each street light as we drive. (That's the man that indicates you can 'walk' at a cross walk.)
He has 'I love you' wars with me.
He tries to use reverse psychology on me when I tell him 'no'.
He says 'um yes' or 'um no' when you ask him questions. He always has a smirk if there's an 'um' in front of it.
On a less cute note, he hits and kicks me regularly, ending up in time-out 2-3 times per day.

So that's it, for now. Life is going along and 6 weeks will pass by in a flash. Maybe, I'll blog more before then, but really, I doubt it. Love me for the crazy mess that I am. xoxo

Seriously? You doubt it? Come on!
