I bet Mason thinks it's a pretty sweet ride on the shoulders of his mom! Today we ran/walked the last mile of the Ogden Marathon in the Kids K. We had a whole little group of people together to do it. Unfortunately, I didn't get to be with any of them for long. Mason, had his own agenda. I thought he'd be all for running at least some of the race. Not a freakin' chance! He was barely willing to use his legs for standing around! UGH. I chose not to bring a stroller, since I just knew he'd love the outdoor air, fun with kids, blah blah blah. So, 4 months pregnant me carried lazy-butt Mason, on my shoulders, for almost a mile. It really wasn't bad, but for a kid with endless energy, it was kind of irritating. We had a joyful time, actually. Niki some great shots of everyone, with my camera, which is why they are so readily available. :)
We missed all of those who weren't able to come. Ethan and Wade had a soccer game to attend and Josh was at work. Gma Brenda did come to support us and watched us at the home stretch. It was so fun to see her smiling face!
Here are a bunch of photos for enjoyment. I nicely cropped most of the ones that show my belly. It just doesn't look good, especially with tight, running clothes on. No thanks, I'll spare you.

The fact that you did any sort of marathon while pregnant amazes me, but doing one with an almost 3 year old on your shoulders? Now that's real amazement--or craziness....take your pick! :)Cute pics! And don't cut your belly out next time--it's cute!
I cannot believe how grown up Mr. Mason is. He is a cutie pie! Great job on the marathon, I would have died. Especially having a 3 year old to carry while preggo. You are a rockstar.
By the way, I might have pregnancy brain going on but did you already find out what you are having? I seriously can't remember if you announced it already. Sad. I don't have any brain cells left.
