Today we took Mason to an aquatic center. By the time we actually got to the facility, Mason was ready for a nap. Oh well, we pushed through and he seemed to enjoy himself. Actually, 'enjoy' is an overstatement. He mostly tolerated it for us. He is a water boy, so we anticipated that he would love it. Saturdays are crazy at this place and the splashing fountains of water didn't help any. He was overwhelmed. He did great, considering it all. He wouldn't have minded a little more freedom to roam (outside of the pools, I might add), but this was not the setting. Too much chaos and water.I took as many pictures as I felt that I could, given the watery environment and wanting to play with Mason some. As is, Josh got to be in most of the pictures. I suppose the blog doesn't see much of Josh, so this will be a treat. The picture above was worth the entire day, in my opinion. I love it. To get Josh and Mason both pulling the same face and their blue eyes. You just can't pose those kinds of shots with an 18 month old. Of course, Josh loves the duct work in the background.
There were only 2 pictures taken of me and I had to beg Josh to take them. Who would think that I would beg him to take swimsuit photos, but I like to be part of the memories too. This one was the best of the 2 taken, even with my head cut off! (We ran into my photographer friend and I honestly thought of asking her to take a shot of us all together, but knew it would be too tacky!)
After about an hour, Mason was done with this entire experience. This is how he shows us that he has had enough...

You should have asked her to take a picture. I don't think she would have minded. Of course I don't know her...but still.
I love the first pic of Mase and Josh together. Its crazy how similar they look!
By the way, I was laughing about this post last night as I was thinking of how moms try and do fun things when baby is not in the mood...and then camera happy moms like us are the worst kind. When baby is not interested it is like we are obsessed...."we WILL have fun baby! Look happy for the camera!" Brent thinks I am crazy sometimes.
Awesome pics. When Noa is done with an outing he starts yelling, "I want to go HOME!" Actually, he was yelling that in the mall earlier today.

Mason is so handsome! Good idea to take fun picutres at the pool ... super cute!
