Yes, yes I love the fall. My husband would love to have time to rake the leaves outside, but I'm glad he doesn't. First off, it's my favorite place to take Mason's picture and second, it's so beautiful to see the fall colors strewn about the lawn. It brings me a sense of calmness that I can only compare with how I feel when it rains. We've been lucky enough to have warm weather this week and lots of sunshine. That makes it even better. All the beauty of fall, plus nice weather.
Isn't this the cutest picture of Grandpa Reynolds and Mason!?! He was trying so hard to get Mason to laugh/smile for the picture that he ended up being cheesy too! I love it! I love it! Don't think I'm silly, but the day I took this picture was the first time Mason had ever been in jeans, not to mention shoes. I don't think jeans are very comfortable, so I always think babies would be uncomfortable in them too. Please notice how much belly is hanging over those jeans! He can't be cozy in them, but they sure looked snazzy on him. This outfit came from one of Josh's friends and I think it's so cute. We were going to dinner with Nicole and my Aunt Dorothy that night, so I put him in 'date clothes'. Too funny.
The next picture is one I took this summer of my friend Marissa and her family. Her husband, Fletcher, fell from a roof at work a few weeks ago and landed on his head. He had such massive swelling that they put him in a medically induced coma, until he could heal some. His current condition is still critical. He has a couple of blood clots that they are monitoring. The swelling in his brain has gone down though, so they are slowly waking him up. He won't be fully off of the sedating medicine until next week sometime. This has been such a growing experience for me (and all of my girlfriends). I can't imagine what Marissa is going through and yet she stays so strong for her boys. She found out on her birthday this week that she is pregnant! I am so excited for her, but know how stressed out her body already is mentally and physically. We all continue to pray for her family. It has certainly made me appreciate my own family more.

We can't get enough of fall either, I wish lasted longer. Cute pictures, I love to see grandpa's--they have such a cute relationship with their grandbabies. And I agree we have all grown through Marissa's experience, it's helped us realize how important family & friendships are. We are hoping and praying for the best this week! Jenna
