My exciting Friday night....

This post will probably only be funny to a few of you. You have to really know how me and my sister, Niki, interact with one another to get the full effect. She asked me if I would go shopping with her. She hates to shop and for some unknown reason, trusts my opinion on fashion. We went to Kohl's at 6pm. She got an insane amount of clothing to try on, mostly tops. I grabbed a few dress pants just for kicks, since they were on clearance. For the most part, we laughed some and I gave my opinion on items. I even tried on a few things that I liked. One of which, was this fantastic little number. Admittedly, it looked better on Niki, but I still tried it on. We were practically fighting over this shirt, since there was only one and it was on clearance. When I went to look at the tag to see the price, I started laughing. I practically collapsed from laughter. It not only said the amazing price of less than fifteen dollars, it also said Oh, Baby by Motherhood Maternity. Of course, Niki was clueless of my new found awareness about this shirt and was thoroughly confused as to my reaction. Once I composed myself enough to ensure that my bladder was in check and that I was able to breath and speak, I shared my secret. Needless to say, we both spent another 5 minutes laughing over it together. One of us did walk out of the store purchasing that flattering shirt, but I won't tell who.
As if that wasn't enough of a story, there is more. When I knew that I was going shopping, I brought snacks; Dr. Pepper and pretzels. I had no idea that when I am thirsty and quench that thirst that I make 'refreshed' noises. After Nicole witnessed a few of my drinks, she finally said 'I am so parched and you are just sipping away like it's the best drink you've ever had'. Acting as though I'd gone out of the dressing room and snagged a drink for myself with no consideration as to her thirst. We laughed and laughed...again! I did offer her some of my drink, but she's not a fan of Dr. P.
Finally, we were on our last leg of shopping, when we stepped back into the dressing room for one more quick try on session. And then, Nicole ran into the shopping cart. She smacked her ankle so hard that she physically fell against the wall for support. That was it. I could handle NO MORE! I fell to the ground, snorting. I am amazed and ridiculously grateful that neither of us peed our pants! All in all, we were in Kohl's for 4 hours! It was worth it in so many ways.

Is it bad that it's not at all hard for me to picture you and Nik rolling around on the floor of a Kohl's dressing room laughing until you cry? I hope not. :)
