One of my 'Valentines' lets me take pictures of him and the other one, not so much. Can you imagine which one is which? Valentine's Day started out with just Mason and I hanging out. Josh was working half of the day. I dressed Mason in a very mild version of 'festive'. No hearts for this kid. Here are some great shots from our Valentine's Day photo shoot. When Josh got home, elated about the snow, he and Mason went right out to play in it.It was a delightful day. Josh bought me some sugar cookies from Parson's (trying to prove that they are better than the ones at the Mini Bazaar. They weren't.). He also got me this darling card. When you move it forward and backward, they dance.
Mickey Mouse is a staple at our house now. Between diapers, books, stuffed animals and TV, we see a lot of good old Mickey. Josh thought that this card was very fitting for our current Valentine's Day and I couldn't agree more. Thanks, hon!
After we did our family thing for most of the remaining part of the day, Stacy, Greg, Burke and Trace came over to deliver a Valentine card to Mason. He got a card and a Fruit Roll Up. Both of which, he loved! He also got some very cool window clingers from them. Mason gave the Pages Valentine's too. The most fun was the metal brain bogglers. Each of the kids got a puzzle consisting of two metal pieces. The goal was to pull them apart. It was fun for all of us to try each one. Josh was definitely the BEST at these puzzles. He's got that engineer-type brain!
Josh and I gave Mason some M&Ms, since they are his most favorite treat. He had a good time and love was felt by all. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

thanks for the invite. glad to be here. :)
OH my word, I forgot about Parson's bakery. My mom used to buy me eclairs from there all the time. Yum :)
Cute pictures! I love Mason's dimple - I'm not sure if he only has the one or if he does have two but it's adorable when he smiles!
