Italy, here I come!

You know what? I am just not that great of a traveler. I'm the type who needs everything reserved and confirmed months in advance. So the fact that we only started planning this trip 6 weeks ago is enough to put me over the edge. And now, there's only a little more than a day until I board a plane. I've reviewed the packing list at least 5 times and have over analyzed each item that I may or may not need. Niki knows to keep me fed at all times and to make sure I get plenty of sleep. If not, I'm worse than a child. It's ridiculous, but true. I printed 10 photos of Mason today in wallet size to take with me, as if that is going to cure my heartache from being away.

I thought I'd post some pics that I took on my last trip to Italy. I kinda thought it would help me be more excited and less nervous. These places are so amazing! I really am looking forward to going. The sights are incredible, the sleep will be heavenly, and the company superb. What could go wrong? (I'll spare you all the thoughts popping into my head of possible problems!)

The world will go on around me like nothing has changed, but know that I will be in another country thinking of you. If you are one of the blessed souls that will be watching my baby, thank you! Josh's work days are not fun to work around. 6am mornings and 6pm nights. 12 hours with a child that isn't yours is a lot to ask. THANK YOU! I've begged him to try to adjust his schedule somewhat during the next couple of weeks and he promised to do his best. All I can say is that I love you and I'm very grateful.

Talk to you soon!
