The Newest Heiner

Everyone claims that blogging is the 'new thing', so I'll give it my best. I'm warning you that I'm not very creative when it comes to these things, so I'll try to make up for it with pictures. Of course, they will mainly be of our little Mason! I'll add a few of Josh and me at times too.

Our lives changed forever on July 14, 2007 when we welcomed Mason Scott into our world. He has continued to make our lives wonderful and exhausting. He is growing like crazy and I can't wait to find out how much he weighs at his 2 month appointment. I've just purchased 3-6 month clothing for the not-so-little guy. He is now smiling by tickling him, talking to him, and making silly noises near his ear. He even giggles on occasion.

This picture will be forever important to me, since it is 4 generations of family on my Mom's side. My grandmother (age 95), my Mom, Me and Mason. We took this photo about 2 weeks ago and I was grateful to have my grandma alert enough to know we were there and enjoy the baby.

Mason looks really thrilled to be at the Real vs. Galaxy soccer game this week. His first soccer event, but not his last. We go again on Saturday to watch Colorado. Hopefully, this one will end in a win and not a tie.

I thought I'd post a photo of him from the hospital, just so you can see the changes he's made. People say he is finally starting to look like Josh a little. Mainly his profile. Otherwise, he's still all Mom. I couldn't be happier to have him resemble me so much.

I'll do my best to post updates on a regular basis. This will give me an excuse to take lots of pictures. I'm thinking of getting a Digital SLR camera, so Mason will be my new little model.

Much love!
